Hello, I have an old Z5500 bass speaker. Is it possible to connect this to my stereo reciever and use it as a subwoofer? Pioneer reciever is a rds804. On the back on this it has 2 connections , one is lfe, and it has connections for subwoofer pre out, and center pre out. But these are rca connections. Have 2 zones one Emotiva PT1 Each, and 1 A6 amp, i plan on setting up the sunroom to have 4 speakers in stereo running off the first 4 inputs of the A6 and then have 2 outdoor speakers running off the last 2 inputs for the covered patio. since the covered patio is literally outside, i can’t put the second PT1 out there so i plan on having both zones controlled from a cabinet in the sunroom. the issue is that since there are 2 Pre-amps that are exactly the same… i can’t control them independently. is there a way to fix this? or does anyone have any ideas on how i can modify them such that i can ..read more

Hello, I’m a newb when it comes to Home Theater setups. I would like some information about how best to start my HTS journey. I’m thinking of starting with a 2.0/3.0 setup and build from there. My budget for the base setup (AV receiver or Separates + Speakers) is ~$2,500. I would use this system for Movies and TV (70%) and music (30%). See my planned setup below. My living room is 23x13ft. Hey team. Long time lurker, first time poster. After finally getting a (very small but lovely) place for my own, I now have an opportunity to do all the things I’ve ever wanted. Like sit on my ass and watch and listen to some excellent content whenever I like. The future is bright. Unfortunately I can not think of how to get the most out of my space and system without some kind of compromise. In one of the latest videos (the one with 8CH Topping DAC) Z spilled that he’s working with Geshelli on something revolving around (I presume) the ultimate missing piece of hardware - A Home Theather Decoder. I’m dying to know more, because that is exactly what I need. Ideally it would just have digital outs, but I don’t know if such device would get certified from Dolby and other companies.
