I have a 2 channel system that I want to upgrade to 2.1 by using an integrated amp with bass management and the addition of subwoofer(s). Even though I have full range speakers, my goal is better bass performance and dynamics for music. I don't want to get an AVR. I'll also be using this system for TV with: Apple TV ==> LG OLED TV ==> Integrated amp (HDMI eARC). Question: is it possible to retain the LFE channel and route it to the subwoofer(s). My Hsu Research sub has a flashing LED on the power cable plug. Any ideas what this is? No mention in the manual that I see and googling doesn’t yield and results. Hey all…. x95L 85 or LG G3 77? Both are same price. Sony is bigger, but heard it has some software issues. My model just gone was a 75” Sony G95. 4/5 years old but was pretty good. Did need re-booting once a week, but did last (broken screen got it). The G3 has a 5 year warranty so burn is not a thing. I watch movies in a pretty dark room 95% at night. No gaming. Sofa’s about 3.5/4 metres away. Last 75 was fine but always nice to go bigger. Even the G3 at 77 looks a fair bit bigger. Anyone had these models? Or experience with them? Hello! Moved into our first house and I'm embarking on the long journey of turning the basement into the chill zone. I've bought the couch, have a TV, and have the Sonos full setup. The problem I think I need to address is the bounce of the sound. The floor is concrete with the fake wood vinyl flooring. Then I have a big custom carpet laid out in front of the couch. Recently bought my first AVR (Denon x2800) along with a turntable and speakers. After a few weeks, I noticed the dialogue was not great through the speakers. But, tbh, the system was bought for music first and tv second. Got a Jamo S81 centre speaker today, and what a difference. Got the Jamo because I got it new from the store for £49/$60 with a loyalty program. Figure I can upgrade it later at that price. Due for an upgrade from a 65 inch Frame TV and moving to a bigger living space. My top choice at the moment is a 75 inch Frame TV - we like our existing Frame TV and how the Matte helps in a bright room (windows all along the side of the room) and do quite like the art mode. I certainly agree with common complaints about the software though, and the picture quality isn't the best. Hey folks, Am I an idiot for wanting to mount a 65" TV outside in our yard using a 4x4 that is dug into the ground with concrete poured into the hole to secure it (similar to how you would mount a basketball goal)? I'd like to go the 4x4 route rather than metal pole as if we ever decide to bail on it, sawing off a 4x4 is easier than sawing through metal/concrete. My partner stepped over the hdmi cable of my Panasonic ubp820, and yanked it pretty hard. I got a new disc today and decided to try it out. The movie, Jurassic Park, played fine until the scene where the t-rex is attacking the car. It started showing visual distortions and the audio went out. I tried another cable, another input on the receiver etc. Same thing. It did work on my ps5 without issues, so it seems like the disc isn't the problem.
