I just picked up a 95 Lincoln Town Car and some 14x7 100 spoke wire wheels, but I don't know what tires I should get. I saw some people recommending 185/75r14s and those have a load index of 89 which is about 5100 LBs (for 4 tires) if I remember right, which would be good for the 4000LB car, plus a potential 4 people at once and a sub box. I also saw some people swearing by 175/70r14s and a lot of the tires for those have a load index of 84 which is about 4400LBs, which wouldn't be enough...

Hello there!
I have recently acquired a Porsche 924 to restore. Obviously the 1980s suspensions will have to go, and since I want the car to be low, while not loosing the ease of use of a stock/high car, an air ride system seems the best.
Plus it's more comfortable, and it's pretty cool.
Being broke, (as most car guy), I'll be DIYing my air ride, because I can't spend more money on a suspension kit around 2000€, when I bought the car for less than that.

hi, i had a pump a long time ago with a plastic tube inside ( a 90 degree tube). i was wondering, im mounting 2 pumps upside down and im thinking that my capacity for fluid will be decreased because the hole in the pump head is now closer to the top of the tank then the bottom. i guess my qusetion is, is this this little tube sold by any of the manufactures or am i going to have to tap threads into the hole on the pump head and make shift something? any help is appreciated ..read more
