On ferry crossing the  channel last year. I received a text that my F Type alarm had been triggered. My F types audio is awful, something is really wrong with it, it booms buzzes and loses stereo separation.  Does anyone know of a decent Jaguar audio technician in Lancashire,  I suppose i should contact the dealer, but its been before, all they did was a software update that made no difference, and I find their lack of skill / interest pretty woeful TBH. it's very obvious it sounds awful ..read more

I bought some Jaguar illuminated sills for my f type (T2R6090) The installation instructions show that the side skirts need to be removed with the sole purpose of accessing a suitable power source. I'm sure I've seen somewhere that there is a power connector already located under the standard sills, perhaps included on later models? Hello, apologies if you're all fed up with these type of questions but I'm looking for advice in an area I'm clueless in! I'm looking to get a 2018 F-Type R-Dynamic, most likely the 3.0litre. The particular one I'm looking at financing has 34.5k miles on it (supposedly 10k above average). Otherwise it looks up to scratch. My question is: what are some expenses I can expect at mileage intervals? I'll do around 6k miles a year, have it for 3 years so will add 18k to it. I own a 2016 F-Type S 6 speed, for what ever reason the reverse lamps don’t function when the car is in reverse. These are the LED vertical light fixtures. The red fog lights work. The fuse is good. My guess it’s the reverse switch on the transmission, as I will have to crawl under the car to inspect and my online repair manual doesn’t show the location can anyone direct me to the proper location of the switch? 18 plate F-type R. I have intermittant multiple warning lights appearing, inc E-diff, stability control, two wheel drive only, and more. I'm pretty sure these many warings are as a result of a glitch in the electronics, but I'm loath to take it to my local dealership, who will happily impoverish me running through multiple ultimately futile checks.
