Used paddle shifters for the first time. Downshifted from 7th to 5th so I could get the rpm’s up over 3k. Did a tiny pull, up shifted and cruised. Engine light popped on and transmission went back to auto. Whole thing was maybe 15 seconds. How concerned should I be? First post here, I’m on the fence of getting the old R because its cheaper, and sounds better. But the facelifted R i can get for 10 grand more and it looks better and more aggressive to me. I wanted to get a facelifted one, but i dont like how it sounds compared to the old one. I was thinking maybe, a new exhaust system plus a tune to add more crackles will make it sound the same. Hi guys! Currently thinking about purchasing an used F Type P300 R, built in 06/2020 with 28.000km (17k Miles) on it (Pre Facelft Version). Planning to keep it for the next 5-7 years, approx 8000 km per year driving during the summertime.
