I have a 2016 Tucson Eco and I’m not getting any hot air when I run the climate control system. I get rotation through all the vent settings, blower speeds and when I engage AC I get cold air. I’ve looked into this online and have already checked all fuses and coolant level. 2019 Tucson SEL. Bought new. Issue started happening last summer. After sitting in the heat for a couple days the unit went on the fritz and basically didn’t work right. Display just wouldn’t boot up properly. Then it went back to normal but over the last year it would occasionally act up again with extreme heat or really cold weather. Lasts a few days maybe a week then goes away. By act up I mean it loses all the preferences and settings EXCEPT the saved radio stations. Now it seems to be stuck in this mode. I have a 2018 Tucson with 52k miles and have had issues with it not starting and not cranking at all. This issue started after about a week of taking it to the anti-theft recall. I would put in the key and it would not crank at all but everything else would turn on like normal. I found a random workaround which was through shorting two pins from the starter relay while the key was on. This cranked the starter and turned the car on as if normal. I have a 2022 Tuscon SEL front-wheel drive with 25000 miles on it. I have heard from a mechanic in passing that Kias and Hyundais are famous for burning oil, thus causing irreparable engine issues. Is this something I should avoid by trading my Tuscon for a CRV? I have been considering the 24 CRV EXL but honestly don't want to extend my car payment.
