Has anyone experienced a similar problem? Welcome to the forum, ‘NickDEmmett’. I can’t say that I have ever heard of that problem although other forum readers may well know about it. It’s a strange one and I must look closely at the roof area of my car in case the issue is more widespread than we know thus far. Hi, This is my second brand new Tucson Hybrid Ultimate as the first developed a fault that the dealers and Hyundai couldn't fix a few weeks after delivery (virtually every warning light on!) Before the 1st one failed I noticed dents in the bodywork between the rear door and the roof bar on the offside. Thankfully, the dealership were able to rectify this. I've just washed and dried my new 23 plate car only to find dents in exactly the same area as the first car, only this time, there's also a similar dent on the nearside. Took my Tucson to local dealer for the curtain airbag safety recall check & they did the fuel filler flush repair at the same time. Nice to get both done at same time! Had a similar issue 5 days ago, but slightly different, left car to do a bit of shopping, came back 20 mins later and started car. Could not get it out of park despite pressing R, N and D with foot on the brake. As I have the car since Nov 2021 am familiar with procedure for driving /starting it. Message on dash in red, stating issue with transmission (cannot remember exact wording) and service immediately. Switched off and restarted, everything was OK. Contrary to my post of 15/04/24 in which I stated that I hadn’t encountered any hiccups with the Carlink5 product, I have now! I hadn’t noticed previously but the charging pad fails to produce enough energy to charge my phone battery while the Carlink5 is employed. Previously, on the odd occasion that I utilised the pad instead of cable-connecting my phone, it did charge the phone though nowhere nearly as quickly as when cable-connected.
