We have a 2020 Tucson N line . It has been unused for around 3 weeks due to home working . Tried to start it without success . The engine spun over quickly enough but failed to fire . Now ,nothing at all . We get lights on the dashboard ,but nothing from the engine . It has been suggested that the starter motor has failed and in turn , the timing has slipped and destroyed the engine ...... It has just been towed away to the dealership who have made us wait 5 weeks for an appointment . I'm now awaiting a call for them to worm their way out of a warranty claim . Glad you sorted it, I am waiting on my PHEV but am running a C5 Aircross PHEV and that sometimes doesn't charge, i have the schedule set for midnight as i'm on cheap energy, what i found is if i plug in and unlock the charging session via the charger app at say 6pm the car can go to sleep as its expecting charge and doesn't get it, I now unlock the charger app at 10 ish and it seems to be ok now. I’ve got the following set up on a granny charger to make use of an EV tariff Mechanical timer on the plug socket. Set the locking of the charge cable to lock with central locking. (Not just when charging). I know the cable is plugged in and the car knows it’s attached checking on the blue link app. I plug it in between 10 and 11 pm ready for the midnight cheap tariff. If I plug it in earlier the car seems to forget it’s plugged in some how. By following this I don’t seem to have a problem. Statistics: Posted by Dave today — Wed Feb 28, 2024 7:42 am ..read more

Thank you for your effort. As I suspected, it is a different version. Apparently here in the U.S. we can't be trusted with options LOL. There is no 'edit home menu' button, and no 'user profile' selection. User profile is limited to photo, phone, primary address, email addy and secondary addresses. Driver profiles brings me to driver settings and no backup option. We break stuff all the time so we can't be trusted with nice things. App version 5.1.9, from January of 24. Again, thanks for trying for me. Statistics: Posted by pabloRI — Tue Feb 27, 2024 5:43 pm ..read more

Thanks everyone carried out the procedure leaving car door open. The car stays in neutral even after opening and closing only leaving a warning audible sound. I can now check my wheels and tyres after hitting these road potholes Statistics: Posted by Snakey205h — Tue Feb 27, 2024 9:32 am ..read more

I haven't tried, but try to open the door and keep it open, and then proceed with instructions Phil shared. Since door is already opened, it might not change to park when you close it. Statistics: Posted by stojced — Mon Feb 26, 2024 5:10 pm ..read more

This is from the PDF for the US model - from memory, I think it's the same procedure :- Neutral.jpg Apparently, you have to then climb out of a window, or a back door Statistics: Posted by PhilHornby — Mon Feb 26, 2024 2:01 pm ..read more

For those unwilling to wait for several months before collecting their chosen model, it is worth asking at your dealership if they will keep you appraised of any cars stuck at Tilbury as there are occasionally cancelled orders due to prospective purchasers becoming cheesed off by the waiting time and deciding to purchase from another brand. Of course, if you are fussy about colour and trim spec, something that suits may never turn up but it is worth asking. That’s how I got mine and although I wouldn’t have selected the Dark Knight pearlescent paint job, when I’m inside the car, I can’t see t ..read more
