Our success depends on where we sow the seeds. Too often, we sow our seeds in the safe walls of the church, and barely yield anything. After choosing his disciples, the Pharisees were trying to discredit Jesus by saying that He has a demon. But Jesus quickly retorted that Satan doesn't cast himself out. What Jesus does is through the power of God, and because of that, each of us has a purpose for His plan. The Pharisees were famous for taking the Law that God gave to Moses and the Israelites, and turning it into something that God never intended. One example is when the Pharisees (who weren’t fair, you see), hassled the apostles for picking grain on the Sabbath because they were hungry. The Pharisees were looking for a Messiah that would enforce rules, overthrow governments, and cast judgment. Jesus did the opposite by healing the sick, forgiving sin, hanging out with the lowest of low, and breaking traditions created by man. Jesus doesn't want a religious system, He wants a relationship.
