Attended the Master GT3 RS training event at QR Raceway yesterday. Fabulous day. Perfect weather. Phenomenal car.
It was the first event Porsche has run in these cars so had no previous benchmarks to pre-judge how fast the students might be. Reference lap was 56.1 (although they had done faster 55s but chose the 56.1 as a tidier ref lap for us to measure ourselves against). As a comparison, ref lap around QR for the Cup car is in the 52s, ref lap for the 4RS is 57.8.
Normally at these events, the lap times of the students varies a lot depending on previous experience, size of cojones, etc. BUT ..read more

Hi,
As previously mentioned, I've started a YouTube channel and Porsche restoration business - savage911.com . I recently made a video with a PFA member's car which also brought out some buyer interest. If anyone has an interesting 911 in Sydney then I would appreciate the (no cost) opportunity to come and review it. Here's the video:
Thanks!

Im in touch with a guy in Nth Sydney ( not sure which suburb yet?) I’m thinking about his 986S.
But before I go much further with any negotiations PPI etc I’m hoping someone can cast an eye over it. Someone with a picky eye for details as CS pics only go so far.

Hey everyone,
Excited to join this forum! I'm Ammar from California. Currently, I'm diving into a project to transform my 1969 912 into a 911 outlaw, drawing inspiration from an Australian backdate I stumbled upon on Instagram. Despite my efforts, I've hit a roadblock in finding detailed information about it.
If any of you are familiar with this car and can point me in the right direction or happen to own this particular car, I'd love to learn about the build process.
As a token of gratitude, here are a few snapshots of my own build progress. Thanks in advance for any assistance ..read more

Hey Fam,
Just wanted to show off the new Grocery Getter / Daycare Drifter... with a few simple upgrades : )
My Taycan Cross Truismo Turbo
I am a big HP petrol loving guy with a heavily modded 930 turbo and a modded Cayenne Turbo in the fleet so that gives me all the passes to enjoy this without the boring old EV comments.
TBH this could be steam powered for all I care , The Cross/Sport Tourismo are hands down the best looking Porsche made In the last 20 years. ( outside of GT cars obvs ) argue below lol
Ive ripped off the plastic guard arches, wrapped it / P ..read more

I have one of these (BRZ) and several testers have said if Porsche made a cut price front engined sports car, ala 944/968, it would probably be similar to the BRZ/GR86 twins.
Tracked mine twice since 03/23 and they are fun! Love the fairly light weight, rear drive, manual coupe, especially in the hills ..read more

Hi everyone,
Seeking some advice for a friend who is making his way down to SA to try out the Bend. Has anyone used any good transport companies they can recommend to drop off and then collect the car a few days later, to return it home?
Thanks,
