Hello all, is there a kind soul who wouldn't mind explaining how post-deployment leave works in the Navy? Once I read somewhere that in case one is deployed e.g. 6 months, they would get 2 months post-deployment leave (which honestly seemed to good to be true) so I'm hoping someone could clarify. If a ships helicopter drops a torp that kills a submarine does the ship that carries the helicopter get to put a kill marking on the ship or does that belong to the helicopter? What if a UAV controled and launched from the ship? What about just controled by the ship? What if just launched from the ship? What about CV's? Are their rules different then say a frigate with an ASW helo onboard? These are the real questions that matter in todays world... lol ..read more
