Fáilte ar ais go Navigating New York! On this episode I chat to TikTok sensation @Vivienne_in_nyc
Vivienne is a new arrival to the Big Apple and her energy and enthusiasm is infectious! It is truly mind blowing to see what Vivienne has achieved in less than a year here - Vivienne is a brilliant example of what you can achieve with a little bit of self belief and, as she puts it, some "chancing of the arm"!
Even as someone almost a decade older, I draw so much inspiration from Vivienne - she is unapolegitcally authentic, and that authenticity has amassed her over 150,000 followers ..read more

In this episode of Navigating New York, I caught up with my friend Andrew Lynch. I met Andrew last year in New York, and ever since, I've been fascinated by his story. Andrew is the founder & CEO of Mason Alexander, a talent solutions company he started in Ireland that has expanded internationally, and more recently Andrew started a new business venture starting a company called Enable, a digital services company sourcing engineering teams for clients across the globe.
Beyond his impressive resume, what is really striking about Andrew is his relentless drive for progress, not perfection. I ..read more

On this episode of Navigating New York, I got to visit the world renowned Dead Rabbit Pub in Lower Manhattan to chat with Managing Director and Co-founder, Jack McGarry.
This episode is one of the most powerful interviews I have ever had the pleasure of hosting. I chat to Jack about his story; from being a glass collector in his local family pub in Belfast at age 15, to being awarded world’s best bartender in his early 20’s in New York, to where he is now – a dynamic, influential entrepreneur on a mission to redefine the Irish Hospitality experience and promote the ‘Ireland of today’ on ..read more

I am really excited to introduce my guest for this episode, the one and only, Damien Dempsey. It was a dream come true to get to have this chat with Damien, described by many as the "Voice of a Generation."
If you’re a Damo fan, you’ll know that his song “Apple of My Eye” is all about his love for New York City - and in our conversation he tells me about how coming here as a young musician helped him to believe in himself and how he met some of his greatest friends and mentors here in the City.
As a young musician in Dublin, Damien felt that people looked down on him for writing songs ab ..read more
