Hello. I have my switch installed in a AV cabinet in a small AV room - with the HDMI going into the Samsung Frame box in the same location, which is then fed through a wall into the TV where we play. Having to switch cartridges is a faff (go into a different room, open the cabinet etc) and isn't possible for my 6yo (its too high up). Looking for a solution... I wish there was a way to link a physical cartridge to my Switch and then not need it in (but know that this isn't possible. I... Read more ..read more

Hello Have decided that at 6 yo, its time to let me son start to enter the world of gaming. Dug out my Switch and set it up and he loves it so far (Mario Kart only at this stage)...have set him up as a user on the console so that he track his own progress in the game (and others when we get them). However I have a few questions: If I download a game can he play it on his user (its a child linked account)? If I buy the expansion-online subscription - does that mean that he could access... Hello Have recently dug out my Switch after laying unused for a number of years (had a child…now old enough to start to play). Moved house since last used it and it’s now set up in the AV room and want to play in the lounge. It works brilliantly apart from I cannot get the switch to wake-up using the pro controller. If I pop into the AV room and power it on, then the pro connects and works well. Tried pressing home. Pressing it twice. Pressing twice after a bit of gap. Pressing and... Read more ..read more

I bought a switch for my son for Xmas, he has a TV mounted on his wall with a shelf underneath it where the dock sits. The problem is that the power supply is so large it pushes the TV off the wall. Has anyone got around this? I don't think you can use just a normal usb-c plug can you ..read more

Hi folks, I'm looking for a headset for my son (10 years old). I have only two criteria, but it's proving very hard to find: 1. Must have volume limiting to protect his hearing 2. Must be compatible with Switch, specifically Fortnite on switch. It seems many kids headsets are not compatible, particularly the mic. Doesn't need to be the best headset in the world, but I can't find any which meet both of the above. Any help very gratefully received! Thanks ..read more

Hi All We've bought a switch (me/ everyone on the TV) and 2 switch lites (Son 1 and Son 2) this Xmas. Switch came with a digital copy of MK8 and we also bought a physical copy. I want to set it up so we can play on the switch when at home (online) and on both switch lites when travelling (offline). If I've understood correctly then I need to install the digital copy on to SL1 and Switch, with SL1 being the primary console. This will enable SL1 to play it offline. SL2 can then use the... Hi, I’ve had the OLED Switch for over a year now and since I got it, every now and then, whilst docked, my TV screen will got black for 1-2 seconds, no sound and come back to life, right back in the game, where I left off. The TV screen will now be saturated in bright colours. I read the 2.0 HDMI cable isn’t great that Nintendo supply and that some recommend getting a 1.4 cable. I’ve tried that and the same has just happened. My TV is an LG OLED, LG OLED42C24LA. I don’t often play it... Read more ..read more
