I have a 1/43rd scale “The Rookie” LAPD Crown Victoria patrol car. It has the number “07” on the trunk lid but has no numbers on the roof. I have an LAPD 1/43rd decal set I can use on it so the car number on the doors and the roof number will match.
On close inspection, using a lighted magnifying head set with two magnifying lens, the trunk lid number appears to be painted, but the LAPD graphics on the front doors appear to be a decal.
What would be the best and safest way to remove the...

Well, I have been hunting for inexpensive 1/24 models of racing numbers 65, 69 and 73 for three years. Now that I am retired, the budget is tighter. I've decided to try my hand at making my own. Got started on the first one. Wish me luck ..read more

He’s how I came to find out about this site, now here I am. I’m not as avid of a collector as my dad was, but I have a little bit of a collection myself of diecasts and hero cards.

Got some real cool stuff throughout last month, including multiple off my want list! It's always fun to find a promo I didn't know existed either, David Ragan's #38 Connor Company car originally DNP'd but at some point must've been saved as a promo as the SKU on the box has the "P" for promo, but the car has the original SKU down. Picked a few things up in Daytona as well. Super pumped about finally getting Aric's Daytona win as well!

This die-cast (ebaY link below) was produced after Dale Sr's death as one of many RCCA "money grab" re-makes in 2001. The purchase order (factory) number (400761) on this Dale Sr. 1998 Daytona Win Elite die-cast (9,996 produced) is actually after the purchase order (factory) number (400686) of Michael Waltrip's 2001 Daytona Raced Win Elite die-cast (2,800 produced).
This represented Dale Sr. authentically autographed die-cast was listed and sold on ebaY a few years ago. ebaY never...
