Was thinking of purchasing an Ipad air 5th gen off ebay but the screen has a crack on the bottom corner. While it’s not a huge crack(only glass is damaged, lcd is fine),I would rather get it fixed then just leaving it and possibly it get worse from another drop. I was wondering how much it would cost to get it replaced(by third party, not apple lol), would anyone have any ideas of an approximate amount? Wondering what people’s thoughts are on a geek squad refurbished iPad Pro 12.9 inch (5th gen) with 256 gb for $600 vs a new iPad Pro 11 inch (4th gen) with 128 gb for $700 from Costco? I’d mostly use it for note taking for class, streaming shows/movies, emails, browsing, etc. I figured the M1 would be more than plenty for my needs. I'm a business student and an avid Windows and Android user. With that being said, I've owned iPads (and other tablets) in the past, and always loved them. Nevertheless, I'd always end up getting rid of them eventually, because I never felt like they did anything my phone or laptop couldn't do. Now that I've been in college for a while, I'm starting to think a tablet actually makes a lot of sense. The first time was about 2 months ago. It stopped charging, checked it into the Apple Store and was sent a replacement used one a few days later. Went to go plug it in about an hour ago and once again it’s not charging. Not really sure why this has happened twice. Hi all, I just got my grandma a new iPad Air 5th Gen. I connected it with my Apple ID since she didn’t have one in the first place and needed to set it up for her. Now, I've set the whole thing for her. My Mac is now synced to it; I literally forgot that happens to all iOS/Mac devices. How do I remove both devices (iPad and Mac) from syncing (Safari, Facetime, messages, contacts, etc.) with eachother WHILE using the same Apple ID? Basically just use the Apple ID, nothing else. Is it possible to view files (audio, video, photos) that are stored on a flash drive? I am trying this for portability. I am able to connect the pad to my PC for transferring. I have tried an adapter that connects a lightning port to a USB port, which was supposed to do this, but the drive is not recognized. Can this be done?
