Problem 1 So like many of you here I've been dealing with the snatchy/jerky throttle application from idle. I decided to take as much slack out of the throttle cable as possible having seen this work for other bikes. So after a through warm-up I removed the slack until the idle began raising (zero slack), then slowly adding slack until the idle settled. Tightened the adjuster up and when for a test ride. My last battery was only 2 years old but developed a bad cell and would not start the bike this year (2024). So, I went with a lithium-ion by Antigravity from Fortnine. A bit more expensive than the OEM but time for an experiment. I received it today installed it and the bike started and ran perfect as usual !
