Hi guys I have a 2014 crf250r I bought cheap because it had no 5th gear, I fixed 5th gear, put it all back together, and now it is really hard to start and when it does start, will stall after around 3 seconds most of the time. It has good spark, tested fuel pump, has air, tested compression and is a bit low at about 55-60 psi but should still start fine with that amount, I’ve triple checked all the efi cords, everything is in the right place, checked valve clearances, checked rings clearances,  I can’t afford a leak down tester to see where it’s loosing compression so I just put a table ..read more

Hello, my son’s 2013 crf450r has an issue with the coolant foaming up in the radiator after he uses it, the bike is not spitting any coolant out the overflow line at all once the foam settles overnight the coolant level is perfectly normal again. Any ideas on what else to look for? To date I have inspected the whole cooling system for leaks and also tried another rad cap. I have suspected a possible head gasket issue but the bike runs great and also does not seem to be over pressurizing the system.  ..read more

I recently bought a 2007 crf450r but I am having clutch issues. After my first ride I noticed oil bubbling up from the clutch lifter, I checked the seal and it looks good, I am trying to put everything back together and now the clutch isn't engaging. It is pulling and pulls the lifter correctly but the back tire is still locked up when in gear. Any tips on what to do? Thanks ..read more

I bought a Redmoto gas tank off eBay for a 2017 - 2020 CRF450RX but it didn’t have any instructions. I swapped tanks and purchased CRF450R shrouds.  I love the slimmer design but the seat doesn’t seem to fit quite like it should. It looks like I need to remove the bracket that the rear of the stock tank sits on (13 on the diagram) to allow the Redmoto tank to sit a little lower in the back. Can anyone verify this? My 08 after FULL rebuild by a mechanic who builds race engines… has problems backfiring when it warms up after about a 10min ride to the point where it stalls itself out, excessive loud popping too like near what sounds like a gun shot. ONLY when it’s hot/just reaching operating temps when it’s cold it’s near perfect. Super weird. My question : in order to take out the roller bearing , what puller should i use ? Or do i have to split open the crank case  ? I ve seen a couple of threads and videos, but in no case any concrete or actual footage is showing the technique on how to remove that roller Bearing. First i just need to say that I'm am extremely new to 4 strokes, with this bike being my first ever and having only owned it for maybe a month. But I've had some trouble starting my bike and I had it looked at and I was told all of my valves are in spec except for one intake valve, he tried to shim it but it still wasn't where it needed to be. So now I'm guessing I need new valves? Should I get just new intake valves? Or all of them? What needs to come with the valves? Hello I just recently bought a 2022 Crf450rx. It was a holdover bike so I bought it brand new with 0hrs. Anyway I financed it and long story short I’ve had nothing but issues with it and the dealer has had it twice since owning it due to no start conditions. I put about 1.9 hrs on it just riding it around the block waiting for the warmer weather and just keeping the fluids flowing but now the weather is here I don’t have my bike and I for see this becoming a long term issue.
