got a cbr250r 2012. just replaced the fuel pump because it was broken. put it all back together, tried to start, sounded like fuel was getting to the injector, so I pullout out the fuel line at the bottom of the fuel pump, and fuel started pissing out. havent had a chance to clean the fuel injector but will probably try that tomorrow... bike will start with starting fluid fine so it is fuel related ..read more

I have replaced all fuses that needed changing, bought a new battery and spark plugs but the bike will only turn over when I have the battery hooked to a charger, have the throttle opened all the way and attempt to turn it on. It stayed on without the charger but it wouldn’t start again without it. I have a 2012 Honda CBR 250r with 6600 miles. Bike was running fine when I parked it it in the garage. Woke up next morning to go home and it wouldn't start. Troubleshooting I got it to run for a few seconds using starting fluid but it wouldn't stay going. Decided it was probably the fuel pump so I replaced it. OK - This is for racing only, so please no responses on how stupid this mod is for the street. I'm thinking of replacing the ignition module with a simple toggle switch. The wiring diagram shows only two wires into and out of the triple plug for the ignition module (RW and BR). But there are actually three wires to the ignition module.
