I'm having a problem with a 954 that I just bought in California. The dealership that I bought it from, Salinas Cycle Center, sent me a video saying the bike that I was going to buy was running excellent and that the slight white smoke coming out of the exhaust was just condensation. So, my first post here i guess. I have a CBR929 with an aftermarket system or a slip-on i don't know actually, that looks like this ---> So my plan is to mount another full system that does not have the HTEV valve. I know for sure that it fits the bike but i'm not sure how it'll work with the exhaust valve.. Can i just install the new system and skip the HTEV completly? Just disassemble it and throw it away?
