I'm gonna order some risers tonight just to try them out. After I got the Corbin seat I feel it pushed me back farther from the factory seating position. Anyway what size of risers do I get? I'm gonna order the +2 up +2 back. But are the bars 7/8 or ..read more

DCT motorcycle system, the Pros and Cons

Every time I join group rides or ride to motorcycle gathering places, and talk to riders, I am surprised how little the riding community knows about the DCT. A fair bit of motorcycle enthusiasts are not even aware of the existence of Honda bikes with DCT transmission (yes it's hard to believe in this day and age of Internet and YT... did I mentioned some don't own or use smartphones). Even if they heard about the... DCT motorcycle system, the Pros and Cons ..read more

Hi Folks, i come from Germany and i am Engineer. After 7 BMW's in the last 30 years i bought in Februar 24 a Africa Twin SD09 DCT with 3500km, 8 month old. In the beginning i started with a cable to connect my Handy and use Android Auto with Google Maps. But Google Maps is not for Bikers. You can not import GPX Tracks from Real Biker Apps like calimoto or others. I decided to buy a wlan dongle and designed and created a new small housing for the dongle, where you can use the old soft lid... My WLAN Solution Android Auto and TomTom Go ..read more

ABS blinking after tire change
Honda Africa Twin Forum

Hey folks I just changed my rear tire of a Michelin Anakee Adventure. Obviously i had the wheel off entirely, rim and everything. Installed the tire, tightened it down to torque specs and started up the bike. At which point the ABS light was constant and i could slide out the back wheel/block it. It then started to blink. I feel like i followed the manual on how to (dis)assemble the rear wheel, so not sure what gives. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance ..read more

SOLUTION - Aliant YLP14 Shorai LXF14L2 (I bought this one from Amazon) I think I've spent over a few hours searching for a new battery for my 2020 AT AS DCT here. And I really need to buy it because I am planning big trip on May 4th. Can anyone help and point in the right direction or just give me the name from Amazon or ebay. My OEM battery died, and I would hate to replace it with another one like that for $400. Maybe there are cheaper alternatives. So far I found do not fit. BTW when I... 2020 AT DCT NEED BATTERY ASAP - SOLVED ..read more

During its roughly 5-year run, Hell For Leather was one of the most-read voices in motorcycle journalism, getting under the industry’s skin and taking positions that nobody else dared. Why was that?
