Hello I have a 1988 Honda shadow VT 800 that is having battery issues. I just replaced a battery on my bike because the battery was over heating and leaking acid. This new battery lasted about 1 and a half months, maybe two, before the same situation occurred. Now this new battery is leaking battery acid, producing a terrible smell. My coolant reservoir is cracked at a seem on my 07 sabre 1100. I've got all the hoses disconnected from it and the bolts out. Can't seem to get it to come out from the bottom of the bike. I moved my rectifier out of the way. Still can't get it to come out. Any suggestions or ideas ..read more

Took my carbs off today for cleaning. One carb looked very clean inside. The other not so much. What a difference. I wonder if one of the carbs come off another bike. The clean carb (front cylinder), has a 106 jet in it. The other carb (dirty) is clean enough to be usable now. It is the one with a 110 jet in it. The bike has 6000 miles on it. 2001. I have the stock exhaust, but it has Cobra pipes on it now. I don't know what the correct jet sizes would be for this exhaust system. Any help... Correct jet sizing for 2001 VT750 ACE ..read more

Ive seen the videos. I have the crankcase cover off. Its 99 aero 1100. I know it rotates then leaks. If i reach down there and it doesnt rotate a 1/4 inch or so back to the right then what? If it does then i found the problem. What is the best way to build the surface up so it catches on the frame annd cant rotate? Do you use any glue on the gaskets ..read more

Greets- just picked up my first bike 09 Shadow Aero 750. Went to the DMV to get the title changed……. New rider, first bike I’ve titled many cars, never a motorcycle. Hello fellow shadow riders I've been having issues with my o4 Honda saber 1100 was backfiring while got that fixed my adjusting my fuel mixture but I'm still losing power half way through my gears but if I give it gas it stops bogging down for the most part but still pops any ideas on what I should do next I've checked spark plugs and air filter I've got light rust in the tank that might me the problem but thought asking for advice couldn't hurt thank you ..read more
