Hi all, I have a new PS5 on my bench. The console is booting normally but it is not possible to synch a controller and since it was resetet to factory no chance to do anything. No of the USB ports is working. I opened the board an checked all fuses. The mosfets of all USB ports are getting 5V. If I pull the enable to 5 V the USB port is running. Hello, everyone. Guys, help with repair advice. I bought a faulty PS5. No picture. At startup, the console starts up, blue light turns to white and after 1 minute there is a reboot. When switching to safe mode, the console briefly shows the image and then it disappears. Changed HDMI decoder, the problem remains the same. I have an EDM-020 ps5 that immediately shuts down after turning it on. UART code reads 80810001 Low General Power Failure (Periphery, GDDR6, APU, Data Line Short) All the standby voltages are present, but what I have noticed is the inductors across the v core rail are shorting to ground with a reading of 0.06 ohms I've removed the inductors but the short is still on either side. I have a PS5 that sometimes has a ~3 sec BLOD; other times, it goes white with no display. I pulled codes with UART and got an 80830018, which seems to indicate a general power failure. It has also given me an 808D0000 which implies the same thing. When it does go white, it does not respond to the power button, and I have to unplug it to turn it off.
