We confess: we were almost terrified to stay fasting once in Amsterdam. We didn’t know much about typical Dutch cuisine and aside from the Stroopwafel, we didn’t know anything else. So you don’t find yourself as unprepared as we were, read this post and you’ll find what to eat in Amsterdam and where.

The Heineken Experience is a classic on any trip to Amsterdam. Basically, you can’t go to the Capital of the Netherlands and not have stopped by to toast the Heineken Experience.
This experience is lived in what used to be the original brewery, which is now the largest in Europe (and is currently located about an hour from Amsterdam).
