Hi there. Recently Windows Update has been failing repeatedly for the past two months or so. I believe it's because I have removed the Edge virus last year, which was causing undesired operations so had to be removed. Every hour I get a popup saying "We will install updates in 20 minutes....." With the options "Do it now" "Yes" "Ok". No option to decline or disable. No option to gain control of the system. I usually press "Not now", but this virus reappears every single hour. Odd issue, it has happened on multiple clients. But users will lose access to one of the DFS Shares we have setup. They can access other shares in the same location, but not that one. Other users can access the problem share, during this time.  Reboot has always fixed it, but my Boss (which this happens too) wants a fix. These scareware messages that people get are more and more insidious!! They used to be full web browser screens (F-11?) but you could get to the task bar or at least have it respond to control-alt-delete, go into task manager and kill the browser apps.  Then reopen the apps, DON'T restore pages, check the home page is legit, clean temp files, scheduled tasks, startup tasks, etc. But more and more, the computer doesn't respond to control alt delete.  Do you have a way you deal with those that you can share? I need to block a website, and figured doing so in the router was the best place to do so however, when adding the website to the block list and applying the change to the router. I am able to block the site using the "Old Internet explorer"  (site can not be accessed) Using edge and chrome the site can still be accessed. I have 3 Computer on this network and all three are able to connect to the site using Chrome and Edge. Does anyone have any ideas how I can block them using chrome and Edge?
