Have you ever felt like you needed to be 15 things for 15 different people simultaneously? That’s how I felt this week. Here’s the scoop: My eight year old plushy-loving son was admitted into the hospital with a severe asthma attack. We learned he had RSV and Rhinovirus. Both respiratory viruses caused challenges. He stayed in the hospital for five days. Thankfully, he came home yesterday and is doing much better! Kaleb in the hospital holding his new friend Waluigi. While he was in the hospital, Kerissa had an eye exam. Now, with our big family, I would normally have my husband’s help. This t ..read more

If you told me I’d have seven children one day while I was in my early 20s, I would have said, “You’re kidding.” There was a time in my life when I didn’t think I’d have ANY children, let alone seven! Fast forward through a ton of trials, challenges and twelve pregnancies, and here we are. The word “blessed” is truly an understatement. My new little boy was born on June 11th weighing 7lbs and 4oz. The first five weeks have been a challenge in many ways, however, we are so thankful for him. He’s a gift and I can only see the joy he brings to our family. Unfortunately, as soon as my mother in law took the two littles for their swimming lessons, I went to the restroom and discovered bright red blood. I was horrified. I slowly walked to my sofa in my bedroom and called my doctor. I texted ..read more

Pictured above is Zoe, my 5th kiddo! I had a meeting last week. It was an important one. I was so excited about this particular conference call that I tried to schedule it at a time where my toddlers, Nattie and Zoe, would be taking their naps. If you’re a mom of toddlers, you know how important nap times are! Unfortunately for me, the participant had to reschedule the time because she would be traveling. She asked for a later time, and we made it happen. The challenge I ran into was the fact that they would be just waking up from their naps at the new time, and I had to change diapers, feed t ..read more

Pictured above is Kennisha Griffin with her two youngest daughters, Zoe and Natalina. For as long as I can remember, I have had a heart for connecting with working mom’s. Oh, I know. It’s probably when I realized how hard it is to be a mom working from home with little kids. I have been working from home ever since my thirteen year old was an infant. At the time, my then husband and I agreed that I would stay home to nurture and raise our children. Times were hard financially, especially after becoming a single income family. Since I had developed specific business skills in Corporate America ..read more
