hello, could you please help me install python and opencv on a raspberry pi 4 model B with a module 3 camera attached? Thanks for help What Operating System do you plan to run on the RPi4B? (Because I think it is likely that Python will be installed by default in all 6 variants of recent releases of RasPiOS.) Statistics: Posted by B.Goode — Thu Apr 18, 2024 6:00 pm ..read more

The other day I was looking for ways to change my leisure time, and while searching, I came across https://w33aus-casino.com/ . I immediately liked the way the w33 casino website was organized - everything is clear and accessible. Attractive bonuses for newcomers and ongoing promotions make every visit unique. The variety of games and the ease of use of the interface provided a great experience at the online casino. It is a perfect way to have fun and try your hand at gambling at the same time. Hi, I just finished creating and publishing a Gist https://gist.github.com/PaulskPt/893f1c ... 2343d02c39, which I want to share with you. I contains a Python script that performs various functionalities: - at start, reading certain settings from a settings.toml file; - reading data from an Adafruit AHT20 temperature & humidity sensor; - reading buttons and joystick X/Y-axis values from an Adafruit mini gamepad QT board; - logging data and information into two separate logfiles; - at intervals send the temperature/humidity data and the board ID to a Google Sheets spreadsheet, using a ´man ..read more

Thanks everyone for clearing up my confusion. I see where and why the error was raised but so far, nobody has taken a stab at why it worked before and now doesn't. I will implement the new code example given to me (thanks Dan) once I heal up and can type again (hand surgery 4/19 to relocate my ulnar nerve and associated artery due to a work accident last summer. Life a bit chaotic right now) Can't wait to try this out Statistics: Posted by Osprey72 — Thu Apr 18, 2024 2:41 pm ..read more

for what I see only results[HOT_FLUID_TEMP] is set! That does seem to be the fundamental issue. The data appears to be converted to a list as 'parts', then 'results' is a dictionary but the item which is later looked for isn't in that dictionary. A print(results) immediately before where it errors should show what is in the dictionary. Statistics: Posted by hippy — Wed Apr 17, 2024 1:17 pm ..read more

Your code is quite complicated. Maybe you just need to fill the data in dictionary and just check when is the last variable. I also add a Validate function just in case you didn't received the corresponding variable. Presently it returns "" if the key is not there but you could put something else. This way is quite simple you loop and record all name=value into dictionary. When the last item is received you simply process all your data and clear the dictionary to start again. Way more simple. No need to check the start , just the last item. Code: def Validate(results, key) if result ..read more

Python • Python3 + Gphoto latency issue

Hello everyone, I'm currently working on a project where I detect if a microswitch is triggered. Upon activation, I use the gphoto2 command to capture and immediately download a photo. However, I've encountered a delay in capturing the photo, which can last several seconds. While the camera receives the trigger signal promptly, it takes some time to actually capture the image. This delay does not occur when I manually take a photo. Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any suggestions on how to reduce this delay? Hello trying to install PyQt6 with pip in a venv on a Pi 400. Got venv installed and activated but get error trying to install PyQt6. Is this supposed to work on a 400? Here is the error response. Thank you for any help Luke As a further data point, in case it helps, I have checked on your behalf and see just the same error running 64-bit RasPiOS Bookworm on an RPI[5] board. I don't think this is due to something you are doing wrong, or incompatibility with your RPi400 hardware. I second the suggestion of asking the package maintainer for assistance.
