Hey Everyone,   I have been using Linux for almost a year now. And have been surprisingly happy with my experience. Unless there is something you need that only Windows offers, there really is no need to go for Windows. However, I have several pieces of hardware related software that simply lack the feature set of windows versions. Long story short. I had windows 11 installed on this very same system with 2 2TB NVME drives in Raid-0 Using VMD and intel RST.  I decided to switch to arch linux, and disabled RST, and instead left the two drives in their default modes. I installed arch linux on an mdadm (software) raid-0 and used this for months with no issue. I decided I wanted to dual boot this config with windows, and opted to start from scratch.  I now cannot get my windows installer(s) to recognize my nvme drives. So i downloaded red dead redemption a few weeks back but got bored of it and i uninstalled it. It might have gotten me into trouble of a virus because every time i start my computer I get the pop up "Select an app to open"MyUserName" folder". My windows defender is also showing me this threat for a month now. I have tried watching tutorials to remove it. But now i am running into a problem that i don't have administrator rights. Lately, my corporate IT has taken it upon itself to "audit" our passwords and declare any as "being vulnerable to modern hacking techniques" (i.e. contain personally relevant strings, like, say, address number) needing to be changed.   I know exactly why my password doesn't pass muster (though work is the only place I use it, so IMO it's not that vulnerable, I'm just stubborn and our IT is notoriously not-competent), I'm just a little incensed that somehow IT can view passwords in plaintext!?   Does Active Directory not store hashed passwords? Hello how is it possible to force custom print (not only layout) paper size in Libre Office? In printer server setting (Windows options) there is plenty of different sizes but they are not available to print on Windows use Microsoft IPP Class driver for my network printer behind cups server (Samsung ML-1620) LibreOffice let me choose only limited list of print sizes (despite layout size is set to C6): And in printer setting only same sizes are available. I have a docking station, that sends a cmd prompt and then quickly closes, when powered on and attached to a pc.   When the doc is not rebooted, it may not work when the pc is reattached. So I wanted to try to manually run such command and see if it fix the thing... Hi, have been using my google-fu to try and figure out the source of the issue, but from what I have found the solution of reset store and resign it did not resolve the issue. Trying to google the code 0x80070002 did not yield any good results on figuring out what is the issue with the store, all solutions were not effective.
