It also includes my weekly Edgic ratings for each castaway at the end of the article. Welcome to Season 46’s Next Time On Survivor weekly feature on the Inside Survivor site! If you’re new around here, I’m Steph from sunny, tropical, humid Singapore. This is a tiny space where I give my best attempts at understanding preview trailers and make my predictions for the show’s next episodes. The NTOS trailer starts off pretty exciting. As the players are looking for Hunter around camp, we realise he’s hiding up a tree. It’s the return of Tony Vlachos’ spy nest! I can’t wait to see what compels Hunter to climb up there—my guess is that it’ll be part of searching for an advantage, as ..read more

Each week Inside Survivor contributor Rob Brodeur will be collecting various Survivor-related statistics and information based on the latest episode of Survivor 46. Merge The merged tribe name is Nuinui. Nuinui comes from the Fijian word for “hope.” It’s the seventh “N” tribe in Survivor history and the second “N” merged tribe after Nobag in Gabon. Nuinui is the first red merged tribe where none of the starting tribes were blue or yellow. The Amazon: Jacare (red) was the merged tribe and Tambaqui (blue) and Jaburu (yellow) were the starting tribes. Guatemala: Xhakum (red) was the merged t ..read more

Episode 7 Recap – Plans, Plans, & More Plans
Inside Survivor

We survived the Earn the Merge twist, but there’s still one more hurdle to get through before the post-merge can really begin: the split double Tribal round that’s basically just a late tribe swap. It’s not the worst twist, certainly better than 90% of the nonsense we’ve had to deal with in recent years, but it does rob the early merge of its weight when random draws decide the game rather than the collective of players. But maybe this episode will deliver despite the less optimal format. On the newly named Nuinui Tribe, Venus is livid about the one vote she got. And she’s ready to point finge ..read more

Inside Survivor

It’s merge time, and Survivor 46 is moving into its next phase with 13 players left. Nami’s undefeated, Yanu finally caught a break, and Siga’s reeling from their first Tribal Council. With Moriah on the outs, the rest of Siga is quick to comfort her and secure their solid five. After all, they didn’t write her name down, so she was never actually in danger, right? Well, Moriah isn’t totally comfortable with that, and the merge announcement gives her the options she’s craving, so we might be in for some major flips. Siga and Yanu head off to Nami’s beach while Hunter scrambles to find the key ..read more
