So I know I'll probably get some shit for this but I am at a loss. I bought a 1301 tactical about a week ago, took it to the range it would not fire, safety off, round chambered. I took it home, broke it down and cleaned it and put it back together and did a functions check and it all seems to be fine to me. I went back to the range today and it was doing the same thing, so I loaded one in the chamber manually and it fires, but then does not even attempt to cycle, doesn't eject at all until I pull all the way back on the charging handle and the spent shell flies out. My dad gave me this SXP that I won at a charity event years ago as a kid, never got around to giving it to me. Real tree is definitely not my thing and I don’t hunt by any means. Is there anything I can even do to this gun( stock swap, remove the realtree, general parts swaps)? Went to a LGS a few days ago and saw it. Truthfully, it’s a bit of a piece of shit. The last quarter of the stock broke at some point and somebody put a block of wood in its place, a block of wood that now is trying to fall off the gun. The back sight appears to have been welded back on? Something to that effect. The shop wanted 995$ for it, which, seems like quite a lot.
