New to the forum. Found the forum while searching for some answers to a question. I own a late model A5 with factory camo. In the last year the camo on the forearm and now recently on the grip are getting sticky. I have tried a couple cleaning products but nothing removes the stickiness. Anyone know of anything that will remove this without removing the camo? thanks for any help ..read more

Gonna pick up either one of these guns this weekend. Same price point. Both are 3.5” guns although I mainly shoot 3” ammo. Both guns fit me perfectly and seem to shoulder better than other guns. Retired my 11-87 this year 2024. I would say I have comfortably killed over a 100 birds with her in some of the best and worst conditions known (Water, Fields, Flooded Timber) to Michigan hunting. This past 2023 split she misfired, would not cycle rounds...she has been to the gunsmith and despite all my efforts (except buying a replacement used 11-87 and doing major surgery) its time to put her on the wall...I have only ever owned Remington shotguns from the 870 pump to the spartan double... Anyone know of an adapter or modification that will allow for 1 3/4” shorty shells to cycle consistently? I’ve tried them in 3”semi auto and 3” pump. The semi auto loads 2 at a time and with the pump the shells tend to “cartwheel” during cycling. I’d like to have the short rounds for home defense.
