Cannot Find Location of Brake Fluid Loss
GMC Motorhome Forum

I always check fluid levels before moving the coach. On Friday, I found the front reservoir in the master cylinder to be only half full. It was full when I parked it three weeks earlier. I filled it with brake fluid, drove a few laps around the parking lot and the brakes felt fine, so I drove it home. At home, after 13 miles of driving and 11 traffic lights, the master cylinder was still completely full. After inspecting everything over and over I could not find a leak anywhere. At... Emergency Brake Cable Connector
GMC Motorhome Forum

Can someone please explain to me how this connection is supposed to hold tension? My e-brake cable has always been hanging floppy under the coach, and I tried to address it today, but i can't free up the second bolt on this connection (gallons of Blaster hour after hour). Even though that's the case, I started looking at the contraption and realized getting that second nut loose to move it won't do anything. The cable slides through the channel no matter how the nuts are tightened. Is... Read more ..read more

I’m going through a rebuild here in KC. I’ve spun a bearing and my builder is doing a bottom up. Crank and such gets replaced, $2500 worth of parts. My machine/builder has specialized in Olds Engine since the early 70’s so I feel I’m in good hands for this engine rebuild. I’ve had seen a lot of rebuilds occurring with the engines lately. Is this just new ownerships or is there something else happening with the engines? Just wondering? Tom ..read more

Add on dash A/C

I purchased an add on under dash A/C unit from GMC parts. I've seen pictures of them installed and they look like they are under the dash. When I hold mine up to the dash it sticks out quite a ways. Looks kind of weird. Is there a trick to getting it tucked farther under the dash? TIA Chuck ..read more

New to me Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow bar
GMC Motorhome Forum
by Carl Stouffer

Last week, I upgraded to a Roadmaster 2 tow bar that I got a good deal on second hand. We downloaded the manual and, although it is pretty complete, I have a few questions that didn't seem to be covered in the manual. If those of you who use this type of towbar (it stays attached to the coach when not in use) I could benefit from your experience. First, has anyone had any kind of issue driving with the tow bar attached to the motorhome, but NOT attached to the towd car, in the folded up... Read more ..read more
