Barbara Sue Frost murder is an Anoka County unsolved murder.  Anoka County has just received a federal grant of $1.15m to work on 38 unsolved homicides dating back to 1965.  Barbara Frost is one of them. Deana Patnode of Inver Grove Heights, was last seen 26 October 1982 near a bar in St. Paul. Her body was found almost seven years later by a mushroom hunter, officials believed she had been dead at least a year. Deana was found in a ditch in 20 May 1989 south of Kellogg in Wabasha County. Deana’s remains were identified March 2009, when a neighbor thought a cold case playing card looked like Deana. DNA was used from a sister of Deana and was a match! Vanessa Jensen 19 had gone with her cousins to watch street racing in Minneapolis when she was shoot 3 times and killed on the 2200 block of North Second Street at about 1:30 am on 5 June 2021. Vanessa was shot three times, one in each arm and one in her chest while she was watching street takeovers at North Second street and North 22nd Avenue, Minneapolis. Nicholas Enger 17, from Cambridge MN was hit by a stray bullet and killed while he stopped and watch a street takeover in south Minneapolis near East Lake Street, under the bridge that goes over Hiawatha Ave. The shooting happened at about 1:45 am where cars were driving recklessly and spinning around when two people got into a fight and started shooting each other and a stray bullet struck Nicholas. Heidi Firkus At approximately 6:30 am Heidi Firkus called 911 on 25 April 2010 saying there was a break-in at the her home and stopped talking after a gunshot went off. Heidi was shot in the back and died at the scene. Her husband, Nick Firkus had a gunshot wound to his thigh and groin.
