2001 MXZ 800. So new sled to me but the tach bounces at idle and if I grab the brake lever and squeeze it , the tach then goes to zero . When I release brake lever the tach bounces again between 0 and 2000 rpm. Any rpm under throttle and over 2000 rpm the tach seems to work fine . Thoughts please ..read more

I recently acquired this old sled, was going to rebuild the motor and found out it has a bad crank/piston rod bearing. Can't find parts anywhere other than seal kit or piston/ ring kit. If I can't get parts is it possible to put a predator engine in instead of the stock motor . Any help would be appreciated.
