I have an Arctic Cat TZ1 LXR from 2007 and three months ago the old battery died out, unfortunately, I kept trying to start it and eventually killed the spark plugs. Anyway, I bought a new battery, charged it fully and added new spark plugs. I managed to change them myself (some of you might know how hard it is on this model). cluster wasn't working when the sled was given to me and i was given a new one with the sled. new cluster didn't work when installed and we determined that the wire coming out of the ecu that supplies the cluster had no power. i'm in the northern va area so the times i'll get to ride the sled are at best the once every ten year storm we might get so i wasn't wanting to drop $300-$400 for a new ecu. so, i simply determined which wire on the back of the ignition was a key-on power wire and was... Hey new here. I picked up a 1999 bear cat last month. stickers all say it's a 440 but i have people telling me it's a 340 because it only has 1 carb. how can i find out what the engine is? It only has 2000 km on it i can't see them changing out the 440 and replacing it with a 340 ..read more

Hi, I have some problems with my m800, im pretty new to snowmobiles. Bought my first arctic cat 2 months ago and first snowmobile last year. But today when I was riding the sled just died, power went down and it just stopped and went silent. I checked the plugs, and they looked good. But thats as far as my knowledge goes. Now its hard to pull the cord with all the plugs in and its easy to pull with all plugs out. Anyone have any ideas for what to check? Kind Regards ..read more

Hello, I have a 2014 Arctic Cat ZR 8000 RR with 2300miles on it. The past couple of months it’s been continuously leaking “Blue” injection oil down the front of the chaincase and can’t seem to find where it’s coming from. My 2003 arctic cat zl 550 barley turns over. It ran perfect the last time I rode it but when I went to start it today I could only get it to do 2 or 3 "revolutions". I got it to fire for a split second but it wasn't easy. The compression on both sides is 120 on the dot. I don't know Why it is doing this. This probably doesn't mader but the clutch is worn out and when it engages it is a clunk and not smooth, I don't think that would make the engine not work though. Thanks ..read more

Went out for the last sled trip to the camp yesterday and went out for a run last evening. All going good, came to a washout that didn't trust to cross, put the sled in reverse bit of a noise came from the drive side and sled didn't move. put it back in forward, same thing. Picked up the back end and guy I was with gave it some throttle and track spun great.
