Hello, I am trying to troubleshoot my exciter 440 and determine why I am not getting spark. I believe I accurately tested the stator by measuring ohms on the wires coming from the engine and comparing those readings I got to what I found online. According to what I found online, it should be as follows: Brown to blue: 81.9 ohms blue to black: 26.6 ohms brown to black 109.9 ohms and then pulsar/trigger: 85 ohms (which I believe I tested accurately my wire colors were a little different... Hello all, I have a 81 yamaha srx 440, and I am wondering about swapping a 84 vmax 540 into it. I am wondering if anyone here has ever done this or knows how well it will operate? I know it's a bit larger engine so probably a bit more torque, but will it be doggy out of the hole? Also how reliable is the 94 vmax 540?
