I’ve seen repeatedly that dolphin robots are more reliable and better than Polaris ones, namely on reddit and other comparison sites (unless clearly sponsored). Today I went into a store to purchase the Dolphin Active 20, which was the one chosen for its features for the price… namely a good sized debris container with different sized filters, corded, and waterline included. I... Read more ..read more

My Polaris 280 needs to be refreshed. The rebuild kit cost about $120 less than a new 360. The 360 says it doesnt need a booster pump. Would I be okay with getting a new 360? Will the 360 run better if the booster pump is running? Thanks ..read more

Hello all, I purchased Polaris VRX IQ+ today from Leslie’s as Polaris days sale is ongoing currently in my area. I unboxed it and tried the smart cycle. It’s an impressive unit. Throughly impressed with its cleaning ability, wall, waterline cleaning. I think I found the robot I need but we will see how long it lasts. However, I have the below question. I see a rectangular styrofoam kind of thing when you open the lid of the robot. See attached picture. Do you all know if I need to keep it... Read more ..read more

My Polaris cleaner is making a high pitched sound while running. It is coming from the pressure relief valve. If I close the valve all the way it’s fairly loud. If I loosen the valve it gets quieter, but still is audible . I have read that the valve should be closed all the way. I have taken it apart and rinsed it out. Does it just need to be replaced ..read more
