Just a word of caution when replacing bulbs. There could be an under issue with the fitting. Had it this week from a regular I clean for. Complained back in January that bulb kept blowing, replaced and left. 2 months later, it the bulb shorted and fried me main selector switch. Upon Inspection, the earth terminal is fried on bulb terminal, and switch welded open. Just be cautious when working on old obsolete ovens. Especially if you don't carry out repairs. @Robert Aigin I have looked at three rugs for a customer. At first glance they looked like a typical wool or polyester rug from Next etc and didn't take much notice. They certainly didn't look anything special and haven't yet done any fibre tests. I then asked her the value of the rugs and nearly fell over when she told me that she paid around £3k for one that was 10 feet by 6 feet. Another one the same size was bought second hand for £400. Anyone had any experience cleaning Bellings? I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to loosen the element on a Belling Euroline Single Electric Oven. It's secured with a bolt rather than a screw. Gives a bit when I try pull forward the element forward but not quite enough to disengage it from the fitting and I don't want to risk it.. No success looking for a manual ..read more
