I’ve been a Silverado/Sierra owner since I started driving in 2004. I’ve had a 1997, 2002, 2005, 2008, 2012, 2017, 2022 and now a 2024. The 2005, 2012 and my 2024 were/are 2500HDs. I’ve also had Ford Superduties for work trucks since 2008, either F450’s or F550’s. Looking at the 2024 Silverado 1500 custom. Seeing the basic custom for $43k and the Trail Boss for $51k. Is the $8k worth the difference? How much $ is a decent aftermarket 2 inch lift on these trucks? Other difference is the trailboss is the 3.0 and basic custom has the 2.7. 2016 Silverado 108k a couple months ago I had a situation where the radiator fan was just going full blast soon as I turned the truck on and would keep going for about 10 Minutes after I shut it off. This happened 3 or 4 times sometimes the check engine light would go on other times not. This hasn’t happened in months but today I tested the AC and it’s just blowing hot air. 2018 Silverado. So I’m starting to have a “howling” / “grinding” feeling at 45mph+. At 80 / 85 it can get quite loud. I don’t feel a shake but I feel it in the floor underneath the drivers seat.
