I first want thank everyone for all the knowledge and insight I've gained from the fourm in the last week. The engine is idling around 1600 at start and continues when driving. I've cleaned mas, iac ,and throttle body. Replaced O2 s1 B2 with denso sensor from rockauto. Replaced pcv valve,air filter ,spark plugs, per owner's manual. Truck has 250,000 miles. 2001 Tundra 4x4 with V8 and 99k miles was gifted to me, but I had to fly to Sacramento to get it and drive it back to New Mexico. Ran like a dream and I made it home okay. Checking with the previous owner who had bought it new,, he didn't think the timing belt was ever changed. I ran a CarFax which showed dealership maintenance, repairs and one other shop did some work. None showed a T-belt replacement.. Replacement is recommended at 90K miles. I could use some of your expertise and guidance please about the rear coils of an 03 limited sequoia 4wd. I installed 1.5” rear spacers in conjunction with bilstein 5100s. I have confirmed that the shocks are not limiting travel bc as I jack up the frame, there is room for the shocks to travel and extend . So, with that said, what could have a 1.5” spacer to only yield about a 7/8” lift from ground to fender? All I can think of perhaps springs that worn in a funky spot/way. Title says most of it: I have a 2001 Tundra Limited TRD 4x4. My rear axle seals blew out (clogged breather) so I’m replacing them and brakes etc. Got the axles out easy and took them to a local Toyota shop to have new axle bearings pressed on. Put the new seals in. Got the axles back from the shop and got the drivers side in without a problem... but the passenger side refuses to go into the diff. It will go just enough to catch and spin the opposite side but it absolutely will not go in the last inch and a half or so.
