Here are a few of my thoughts on the Powerflex upper motor mount insert. The knock sensor on this car is VERY sensitive and will retard spark when it senses knock or "thinks" it senses knock. Looks like my OBD Fusion app was updated recently. A couple nice upgrades happened. The first is the ability to log PID's in .1 second intervals now. Before the update it was .3 to .5 seconds. A quarter mile run can now give around 140 data points The second is carplay integration so you can display live SAE PID's or several other live data points on the radio screen. Bought a 2023 (new) Forte Turbo GT over tyhe weekend. In checking out the speakers, I found that in the trunk there is only one speaker on the right side. The hole and grill on the left side contain nothing. I have been told that the single speaker is a small sub and no speaker is included on the left side despite there being a grill in the deck. So, I just completed my very first DIY oil change because it's much cheaper to do it myself. It went surprisingly smoothly, besides the hassle of removing the underbody shield and the amount of time it takes for everything to drain out. Which, BTW, really makes me question the validity of the dealership or any quick lube place, because the oil took forever to drain. After a year of thinking about it I finally decided how I to set up my PCV and oil catch can. The rocker cover vents hot vapors from two vents, one in the front and one in the rear. The front vent normally has the vapors getting pushed/sucked past the open pcv valve and into the intake manifold at idle or light throttle. When the engine is under boost/WOT the positive boost pressure closes the pcv valve going to the intake manifold. The hot vapors then get pushed/sucked out the rear vent and...
