Support carry (impression only! not serious)

You hate it as adc but love it as support You hate having them when it's a tie, but love them when they start to carry and a. snowball the win b. turn over the lose If you have adc that's good, you don't want them unless they are like, both super good; if you have adc that's shit, you want them because at least you still have something, unlike "support" support who sinks with the botlane ship submitted by /u/Mastermind0428 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Is there any content going in-depth about items (especially components and epic items) ?

I've been trying to learn more about items and build paths, but I've found it hard to come upon actual discussion of items besides "good/bad on this champion or this situation" outside of LS, which is interesting but I would like to contrast viewpoints on the matter. submitted by /u/Elythys [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

After Fiora, who takes the 2nd place as queen melee duelists?

My guess it's gotta be one of these ladies: Bel'Veth, Briar, Camille, Gwen, Illaoi, Irelia, Riven. I feel like Nilah, Lillia, and Shyvana could be up there. Diana, Vi, and Rek'Sai probably belong a tier below them. High mobility assassins like Akali, Katarina, and Qiyana could win some duels, but if they make use of their mobility to kite and wait for their cooldown. All-in assassin like Evelynn might have some of the highest burst damage rotation, but if enemy survives, she might as well be dead. She is also very dependent on landing her charm. Naafiri might be the best all-in dueling assass ..read more

Climbed plat playing jungle, want to roleswap mid, suffocate me with advice

Basically what the title says. I have been playing on and off since 2020, and only this year I took the game pretty seriously and went from silver to plat in jungle. Through season 13 I had only played katarina mid (badly) and I quit ranked since I wasn’t good enough to carry mid while jungle I kinda knew what I was doing. This year I decided to give a try at solo q again and climbed fairly easily through the lowest elo playing jungle but in the middle of the climb I realized I don’t really want to play this role and enjoy mid way more. So I created a new account and started solo queueing mid ..read more

What can I do

I'm platinum right now and I'm just so lost on how I can perform to win the game. I try my best to win, but I've lost 9 games in a row and I'm about to be at plat 4 0Lp. I've tried playing jgl and didn't perform too well do to lack of communication on my part on gank timing, but even when I tell my bot lane exactly what the enemy jgl was going to do they would ignore me and proceed to die. I've tried playing top because my top laners haven't performed even though mid and top were the lanes I was putting gold into. I'd try to gank bot but they wouldn't react to my gank well even when I explain ..read more

Hey guys/gals, Wanted to get back into the game and take it a bit more serious. the roles i'm most interested in are adc and support. especially for the adc role Smolder and Twitch and for support maybe enchanters and control mages? my biggest problem as adc currently is probably everything, but ive also noticed that i'm somehow way to passive and most of the time dont do any dmg at all. early is really really hard for me which then takes into my mid and end game really hard. are there any good resources/tips you can give a scrub like me? Ik, there is a really small sample size on ranked game ..read more

How do I make sure I don't throw a lead

Just threw a game, where we were maybe not stomping but somewhat ahead of enemy team(our twitch got quadra, i was like 8/3 naafiri around minute 20). But later into the game I just stared feeling the pressure from enemy rising. They have started to become stronger. I couldnt just engage and steamroll 2 people. Slowly they were getting ahead of us. We were taking drakes, even got a soul, but my future sight just told me we would lose it after seeing how some of the teamfights played out. After many games you can just feel it if you know what im talking about. How do I stay ahead if we cant jus ..read more

Hey all, So I played DoTA for a long time and tried out League for the first time about a year and a half ago. It was fun but I hadnt played any MOBA in years so I kind of lost interest and went back to what im good at - FPS games. Well the Tarkov wipe is over for me and I found myself getting excited to pick up League again. I love the idea of MOBAs but am finding myself discouraged after just a few games. The main reasons being: How good the average player is these days and as a result how hard it feels to get myself up to their skill level. I'm a pretty competitive person and I know I used ..read more

Seeking advice on achieving consistency as a jungler

Hello r/summonerschool! I’ve been facing challenges with maintaining consistency in jungling, and would love insights from you all. As a jungler, I often find myself in dilemmas about when to full clear, invade, or gank. For example, as Shyvana, I tend to focus on full clearing before making significant plays, but this sometimes doesn’t sync well with my laners’ actions. They often push, trade, or all-in early, and if they get ganked, I usually get blamed for not being around. I understand that there are numerous variables in each game that can dictate the best course of action, but I’m looki ..read more

Hey all, I'm a support main trying to climb top, and I was able to reach emerald 2 last season. What are some tips to trading and taking turns efficiently? Not just damage, but also going for base and going for plates. Same applies to being behind, for example when I'm frozen under enemy tower while playing a scaling champion with very low kill pressure early, such as ornn or nasus. I've heard that one of the best ways is to track the enemy jungle, but I really don't understand the role well enough to know where they might be during those moments. Is this something I should prioritize focusin ..read more
