Do I need a second pole for spraying?

Hi guys, might be a daft question so do forgive me... At the moment I just spray whatever TFR/chemical I'm using onto my brush head and scrub it on but I'm going to buy a backpack and DA Components spray nozzle to make life a little easier with FSG cleans etc. I only have 3 poles, 2 of which are 18ft and the other is an slx 25. Do I need to buy another pole or can I apply the chemical, remove the nozzle and put a brush head back onto the end of the slx? Will the pole hose be alright or can the chemicals linger inside and cause spotting on windows? Thanks Jake ..read more

Waterproofs recommendations

What are people wearing? I’ve been buying Screwfix waterproof suits as they’re only £15 and small enough to roll up and chuck on the van. Trousers rip so easily though I’ve probably now got 5 jackets and one pair of trousers. I’ve also got a couple of Dickies tunnel suits. Stupidly warm even in the depths of winter but not cheap and I tend to wear them out on the seams quickly with winter landscaping work. Any sensibly priced or expensive but hard-wearing recommendations? Thanks in advance ..read more

FSC or Turbo please?
Window Cleaning Forums

Joined up recently to get info on new kit but on reading old threads on here and other forums I’m surprised at how many people say that they prefer just using a turbo nozzle to a surface cleaner. Since buying a vaguely decent 16” FSC I wouldn’t dream of using a turbo for a whole driveway or patio. If only for the reduction in mess over both me and the surrounding area. It also seems quicker and more even. No striping or missed bits etc. What’s the logic ..read more

Pressure Washer choice

Hello folks. First post here. And apologies that it’s a much asked question but posting again as I appreciate that the market changes and the historical answers may no longer be accurate. Firstly I’m not a ‘cleaner’ as such. My main trade is landscaper, but I also fit kitchens, bathrooms, garden design, design and build bespoke pergolas and design and build wood-fired ovens. My builds often involve skips on clients driveway and I pride myself on leaving it cleaner than I found it, with a complimentary full driveway clean. This in turn results in quite a lot of repeat business and requests from ..read more
