Can someone please explain how threat works in the blackreach campaign? Ive read it several times and still cant get my head around it. And the diagrams make it even more confusing. Does it start from the tile you started the campaign from, turn from or the tile you failed the event roll on? Also the threat penalty on skill attempts, both the tiles in the diagram show -1 so i dont understand how that works either

Hi,
I have a question regarding a strategic objective token and puzzle.
It states that you gain +2 VP when you control the strategic objective at the end of the turn. Does the strategic objective stay in play or is it removed after you receive the 2 VP at the end of the turn?
Second question: the puzzle token is also a sort of objective token. Do you also get +2 VP at the end of the round when you control it(as an unsolved puzzle), then, also roll an intelligence test to see if you get +3 VP? I did see the puzzle is removed once solved.
Third question; solving the puzzle does not require an ac ..read more

Hello,
I somehow overlooked the differences between follower and adversary cards and have played 4-5 games with followers with an adversary card. Apparently they have stamina and better health!
Lol. But i was wondering before i dive into card pack 2. I’ve got a lot of retired blades minions and adversary cards from the miniature expansion set. I had a quick answer an a previous question, mentioning that the blades faction is in card pack 2. Does this also include the follower cards for all the retired blades from the miniature box (Skyrim the adventure game)? As i already have the adversary ca ..read more

Hey,
Maybe its something i missed with the miniature expansion, but i could only find the heroes and adversary/follower cards for the sheathed blades but NOT a card for dice rolling the AI move for when fighting the sheathed blades. Is there non? Is it in a card chapter pack 2,3,4? I also could not find the faction rules for it. Is it the same as adventurers?
I like to have the faction rules and the card for the AI moves so i can use them as adversaries too.
Warm regards,

The description says: Included are Heroes, Followers and Adversary cards that can be used as allies or enemies in your struggle for dominance.
I cannot find any more information about that.
Are those physical cards or are they just printed in the book?

Just wanted to clarify the rules around adversary activiations.
The table on pg 71 has the number of adversary activations for each gold septim range. My understanding is that if this was 2, 2 adversary models would activate in a row in between each player activation and that all models on the board will eventually activate per round. is this correct?
Many deleve battle reports don’t seem to play it like this hence my question. However I have seen one that does play as above.
The wording on pg 70 is not very clear “The corresponding Adversary Models will activate in the activation phase, alter ..read more

Hi all. Been playing this game for a long time now, primarily versus friends. We always play battle mode missions (the ones from the stormcast rebellion are our favourites) but tend to avoid those with adversaries in it…
The work on book keeping slows the game down for us. My opponents are players that are not that deep into the game and are already busy managing their own force and special rules.
A game of 350 pts takes us 1-1.5 hours including table setup. With adversaries it takes at least two hours…
Dont get me wrong, i like the rules for them and also like to play solo.
How do you guys fe ..read more

Has there been any word when we can expect eighter the card pack or the next histories of empire scenarios?
Are there already any leaks about volume 2 other then that it focuses on the dark brotherhood?
Really love the first volume and can’t wait for more scenarios.

Hello Gavin, Jim, et. al.,
I am a lifelong TES fan and have almost all of the CTA kits. I am deeply invested in this game and have been thrilled to play it (I do favor battle mode) since its announcement. Unfortunately, like many others, I have been frustrated with the many errors in the rules (especially cards that won’t be pdf updated) and see these as a blemish in an otherwise great game.
I am offering to volunteer as a freelance text/copy editor for Call to Arms content. I am an experienced game programmer, Battlescribe data editor, and writer, all of which have required me to pay close at ..read more
