The New York Giants drafted Kentucky wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft with a specific plan in mind for the young receiver.
Unfortunately, that plan had to be put on hold because Robinson has struggled to stay healthy since being drafted.
But once he overcame his hurdles–he suffered a torn ACL in his rookie campaign, which caused him to start out slowly last year–he still finished the 2023 season as the Giants' leading pass-catcher with 60 receptions.
Now that his injury is behind him–he proudly shared that his off-season GPS numbers have “hi ..read more

Eagles Found Innocent of Any Wrongdoing in Saquon Barkley Signing
The Philadelphia Eagles were found not guilty of tampering with former Giants running back Saquon Barkley before his contract with New York expired.
“After a thorough review of the Philadelphia Eagles signing of Saquon Barkley, the NFL today informed the club that the investigation did not discover sufficient evidence to support a finding that the Anti-Tampering Policy was violated,” the league said in a written statement.
“In coming to this conclusion, the league reviewed phone logs, text messages, and other documents related t ..read more

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The New York Giants 2024 spring football program is officially in the books after the team wrapped up their program on Wednesday with their final minicamp practice.
It was an uneventful spring for the most part. Receiver Darius Slayton, who stayed away for most of the voluntary work in a quest to get a new contract, reached an agreement with the team on a modified contract.
As expected, Darren Waller's retirement decision was made just before the start of the mandatory minicamp. The tight end walked away from the game after eight years, his decision “gifting” the Giants ..read more

The New York Giants spent their third-round pick in 2023 on speedy Tennessee wide receiver Jalin Hyatt to add a more vertical presence to their offense.
Hyatt burst onto the scene for the Volunteers during the 2022 season with Hendon Hooker as his quarterback en route to a near-1,300-yard season with 15 total touchdowns.
A breakout October game against the Alabama Crimson Tide with 207 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns had Hyatt’s name thrown into the early draft conversation and led some people to think he could be a first-round pick.
That season would end with Hyatt b ..read more

Perhaps it was always the plan all along of New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll to one day become the team’s main offensive play caller—after all, his creativity as the Bills play caller is a large part of what got him the Giants job.
The problem is that when Daboll was hired as head coach, he had never been a head coach.
So rather than heaping a double helping of stress on his plate—the stress of being a first-time head coach and the play-caller—Daboll hired young assistant coach Mike Kafka from Andy Reid’s Chiefs staff to do the play-calling while Daboll acclimated to his new world ..read more

New York Giants defensive coordinator Shane Bowen wants this forthcoming iteration of the Giants defense to be aggressive.
Well, sort of. Bowen isn’t going to unleash the hounds via the blitz quite as often as Wink Martindale, his predecessor, did. Instead, he’s going to take a different approach to being aggressive in a way that opponents will hopefully respect.
“Yeah, I think there is a fine line between being schematically aggressive and being play-style aggressive,” Bowen said before the Giants concluded their mandatory minicamp on Wednesday.
“Like the play style ain't going to chang ..read more

Of late, New York Giants offensive tackle Evan Neal has cut something of a lonely figure. He was dialed back after participating in early OTA workouts due to his continued rehab from a season-ending ankle issue that required surgery.
Neal, the seventh overall pick in the 2022 draft, is facing a critical season ahead in which he and he alone can put an end to the growing chatter and concern about whether he can be an effective right tackle in the NFL or if he’s headed ow the same path as another Giants first-round offensive tackle, Ereeck Flowers, did.
For now, all Neal can do is work to get hi ..read more

One New York Giants tight end's end has offered a new beginning for another.
Third-year tight end Daniel Bellinger is in line for a promotion from TE2 to TE1 following the retirement of Darren Waller.
The “promotion, though, is more of a restoration of sorts, as Bellinger was actually a TE1 in his rookie campaign, a role that he relinquished to Waller after the team acquired the now-retired veteran via trade with the Las Vegas Raiders.
"I'm ready to take a step. I am ready to take a step and do whatever they need me to do and do it better," Bellinger said of the training camp challenge ah ..read more
