Hello, I have been through not having a car for over 2 years due to their motor issues. I was told so many were breaking down, I that I could not get a loner. I was burned by the seat's heater. But now I have the anti-skid lights and brake light will not turn off. I have to unplug the battery. oh I have 2014 Elantra gt. Is anyone on here having the light issue. Day 1) At 100k my elantra 2014 1.8L Automatic Transmission US Built started giving up. It started slipping at stop signs randomly or at a red light (RPM would shoot up car wouldnt move forward in drive). Minutes later it would go into drive but the jerk would be pretty bad. I recently purchased a brand new 2013 Hyundai Elantra and I have noticed that I sometimes when I brake fast but not fully slamming on them from going about 60-80km I hear a loud grinding noise. Got a set of projectors in and as another member stated, the LED bar flickers when the engine is running, but works perfectly fine when the engine is off. A 2013 owner was able to successfully install the projectors/LED using a shark racing 6-pin to 8-pin adapter. Since my 2014 is already 8-pin, I'm not sure why it's not working. Hello! Hopefully someone can chime in on what this might be. Yesterday I came back from a 2-hour hike, and my 2011 Elantra started up just fine, but the AC and radio were both dead, as was the clock at the top of the dash. The buttons and knobs just wouldn't do anything. The light next to the clock for the airbags was on, and the light on the stick indicating Drive, Neutral, etc., was on. Just as the title says, 2012 elantra radio/stereo is muffling the music as if underwater. I suspect the issue is with the unit itself and not the speakers. When I smack the unit with my hand, the music comes clear for 10-30 seconds but then the issue starts up again. I went to remove the radio/stereo unit and I burnt my hand touching the back of the unit. After removing the unit, I took off the back paneling and found out that the heat is radiating from this component (see pic). Not sure... I've had my 2013 Hyundai Elantra stall 3 times in the past couple of months. Each time this has happen, I've been stopped at the same traffic light, which I stop at every day on the way home from work. The street has a bit of an incline, which might be a factor into this. The first two times, the car started okay. Drove home on the highway without issues. The third time, the car did not want to accelerate much beyond 15 MPH. Hi, I'm hoping someone here could give me guidance. I have been having a P0106 code for awhile (manifold absolute pressure.) I had a mechanic replace my MAP sensor with an aftermarket one from Amazon. I'm still getting the code and my car sometimes stalls, has rough idle, rough acceleration occasionally. I have a 2013 Elantra GLS that is pretty barebones (no backup camera, standard radio, no trunk button, no keyfob, etc.). I recently installed an after market radio (Sony XAV-AX3200).
