For the '23 IBR I ran my aux fuel line to the top plate of the fuel pump on my 2018 Goldwing. I had to replace the fuel pump so I need to drill for the bulkhead fitting again. I'm going to tap the actual tank this time instead of going through the fuel pump top plate. I've seen folks put the bulkhead fitting in the bottom left corner of the tank and also the top left near the filler neck. Aux tank is gravity fed, and I think either spot will work. I know that adding a fuel cell to a Gold Wing isn't what you'd call "something new", but I decided to go my own way a little bit. A while back, I bought a taildragger setup from a forum member. It was quite nice, and was definitely "plug and play". I was told that this particular fuel cell had seen life with a couple different members, and had even been used in an IBR. I installed these Pathfinder LED aux lights two years ago on my ’13 GL1800. They are always powered on, there is a single LED on the toggle on/off switch that turns green when the lights are activated, red when they’re off. I have an Aux Fuel Tank I want to install I have the mounting just about figured out. It will be mounted to the passenger grab handles and I want to gravity feed it to the main tank with a shut off valve. I have a bulkhead fitting I could use through the Tank Level Sending Plate, but in looking at it today I think I can probably just "T" into the fuel return line.
