As Rambozo stated. Honda sells a special service tool (a jumper connection) to jump across a diagnostic port that is under the passenger' seat and behind the right engine cover. The part number for the jumper tool, and how to use it by counting the check engine light flashes is in a Service Manual. The port is red, and has a red cap. For access, only the right side cover has to be removed. With the right connectors, some will make their own tool.

A couple things
A fork brace actually does nothing so you can rule that out
Tires typically do not cause this behavior
In 50+ years working on and around motorcycles I have never seen worn swing arm bushings so rule that out
if new steering stem bearings were installed and are set via torque and not resistance than that will absolutely cause what is called in automotive circles as "ball joint memory" causing the resistance for the front wheel to center itself.
When I replaced the Superbrace on my GL1500 with a Blackwing fork brace, the improvement in stability in turns (particularly sweeper ..read more

Hi there I'm considering it and it will be my first. Anyone riding out from the Orlando area? Maybe we can meet up and ride together!

Impressive
If I may suggest that you
Ride with your passenger's foot boards up to help save those obsolete side panels
Or
Use 15 inch fish leaders or longer attached as the pictures
I have sprayed the rubber grommets with silicone for the past 20 years to keep them soft every time I removed the side panels
Take your old windshield and make a headlight protector
See in How To Articles
Enjoy your Wing and Take Care

If I was better at reading wiring diagrams, I wouldn't need your help. But because I'm not very good, here's my question. I ride a 2008 plain (no GPS, no airbag, no heated nothin') Goldwing with a strange problem. My Hi beams most often do not come on with the switch; this implies they do sometimes work, and yes, they will rarely illuminate.
As I read the wiring diagram, one Hi beam is controlled by a relay, while the other directly from the reverse switch. But the Hi beams are both on, or both off. I have changed the fuse in the side cover, and replaced the relay under the seat, neither has ..read more
