There’s a new dessert at vegan fan favorite Trattoria al Forno at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort! I feel like every post I do lately is discussing the removal of a beloved vegan menu item, but thankfully they haven’t touched the entree at Trattoria al Forno. The plant-based Rigatoni Bolognese is so good and consistently a great choice for vegans. Previously, you could also get some off-menu vegan garlic knots, but sadly we have heard the chefs are no longer offering that option. Sadly, no longer available at Trattoria As for the former vegan dessert at Trattoria al Forno, it was a plant-based vani ..read more

In keeping with Disney’s recent trend of changing menus every few weeks, we have a new dessert lineup at Sanaa, located in the Kidani Village section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, including a vegan option. Previously, the plant-based vegan dessert at Sanaa was a rice pudding, Kheer, which was is a coconut-rice pudding with cashew streusel and saffron-poached fruit The new vegan item (and all the new desserts), are themed after African animals. This is now the second year we have a vegan Disney Easter dessert at the Grand Cottage in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort – it’s completely vegan as-is! The Grand Cottage debuted in 2022 in the lobby of the Grand Floridian. The Grand Cottage is similar to the giant gingerbread house during the holidays, in that it sells seasonal treats, however this little kiosk isn’t made of edible items. The first year of the booth we had an Easter chick cupcake. The cake was similar to the allergy-friendly cupcakes available in the value and moderate resorts, so kind of dry and not that great. But last yea ..read more

We’ve mentioned before that Disney is on a roll with constantly updating menus – including vegan items – and Geyser Point is the latest one to get some new options, starting October 11. Previously, Geyser Point did not have anything officially plant-based on the menu. There was an off-menu plant-based burger and you could modify some of the salads. Now, however, we have 3 (yes THREE) new plant-based options. Let’s dig in to the news from the DisneyParksBlog:  The Macaroni and ‘Cheese’ Bites are “cheesy” bites of goodness paired with tomato and peppers. This is one starter you’ll defi ..read more

I feel like I start every blog post lately with “Disney keeps updating menus…” but here we are again – some new vegan options added to the Contempo Cafe menu. Contempo Cafe is the quick service food location inside Disney’s Contemporary Resort. In the heart of the action, it’s always been a favorite spot to monorail-watch, as they ride right through the Grand Canyon Concourse of this classic A-frame and original 1971 Walt Disney World Resort hotel. The vegan options at Contempo Cafe now include the Breakfast Tofu Bowl – $8.99, which is vegan as is and consists of scrambled Just Egg, vegan sau ..read more
