The noise is not present on startup but will show up after just a short drive. Tried water on the belt to rule out the easiest fix, the belt itself. So now, I’m wondering if it’s one the accessories. HELP!! Driving down telegraph my dash lights started flashing car struggled to accelerate. Engine light and a lightning bolt symbol lit up. Just engine light stayed on. Hey! I just purchased a 2016 jeep compass for very cheap. It has some issues, but I plan on fixing them. I have a couple of questions... I have a Gen 1 2017 compass 2.4l 6spd a/t 4x4. When you turn on the fog lights the wipers come on, and sometimes the wipers come on when you start the car. Everything was fine until I disconnected the battery and changed the spark plugs. I used factory plugs. I tried changing the multifunction headlight switch but that did not work. Done few things already like upgraded all filters and filtered me valve cover to go with the rest of ram air induction also did muffler delete swaped with DC pro series silento- prosacuter and swapped sfs mudule to run high test feul car was running so great I mean gapping hemis and most none aspirated sports cars gone it goes 50 in first gear 70 in second gear even programed CPU and controller so no check ingene light to worry bout there is no off road mode any more but still a beast on... Hi everyone. My wife has a 2017 Compass Latitude with 96,000+ miles. Lately it has been making a loud rattle (like a fast woodpecker, she says) in idle and as low speeds. The rattle either stops or is too faint to hear at higher speeds. It only happens when the AC is on — it stops as soon as the AC is turned off. When taking off from a stop . Feels to go from 1st to 2nd and then feels like it bogs down like it shifts to 4 maybe. only those gears . Then feels like downshift to increase speed. I had CVT rebuilt . Thenchanged throttle body and electric pedal. Then changed spark plugs . TCM and then changed the whole CVT . Has anyone experienced this issue??? On the upper status bar of the Uconnect 10.1 display I have an icon or shortcut that if touch it does nothing. Also, I don´t manage to remove it or replace it with any other shortcut.
