Update Replaced Fuse 2 last week as power mirrors not working. Checked replacement fuse and one "leg" was actually broken when I pulled it out, so replaced it again! Removed Fuse 16 as it supposedly controls Rear Wiper according to manual. Now Washers work , Rear Wiper partially works, I.e Starts then stops. Some improvement. 2011 Compass MK49 CRD 2.2 Limited 136 BHP (2WD) When I pull the r/hand Stalk to operate the screen washers the engine cuts out and the rear wiper sweeps in a jerking motion. This was working 2 days ago. The front windscreen wiper functions OK on intermittent and full operation. Also glowplug warning light comes 0n for a brief period. New battery fitted two weeks ago and no problems until now. Drove 200 mile yesterday with several stops without incident but did not use the function! Hi. I've a 2018 compass sport without roof rails and want to get a roof rack capability - carry surfboards, storage box for holidays etc. Jeep have quoted £800+ just to fit rails and then need to buy bars. Searched a few independents for used parts but nothing to date. Thanks, I've checked and they are all ok. Managed to get my hands on a workshop manual but the detailed wiring diagrams for the 2.2crd engine are not in it. It looks like there are 2 relays in a block next to the tipm (fuse box). What I have found is that fuse 18 (Main Relay) has power but fuses 23, 26 & 32 have no power. I suspect the tipm has gone. Does anyone know if the tipm needs o be programmed to the car or is it a plug and play unit ( it looks like a fuse box but there's a lot of electronics inside it). Ok so it's been back to the Ford dealer and it's been fixed. They said it was a dirty coolant sensor but I suspect it was a dirty air sensor as they said it wasn't registering the temp so stop start wouldn't engage. Just glad it's sorted.
