Hi. Just wondering if anyone can tell me what this part is. It is located behind engine between firewall. The hose was disconnected and it has vacuum. Hi Everyone, Not been around for sometime - been in a bit of a black hole - but back now and still have my Sorento. EXT fuse has blown twice knocking out these lights. Have had welding to sills and rear wheel arches in recent times. Have checked wiring to trailer and rear light clusters, bulb holders, broken fretted leads etc, without anything found except that green lead to all 3 connectors appears to be shorted to ground as well as the black. Hi everyone, I've got a sorento 2.5 diesel manual 2009. Mostly it drives fine, no engine warning light, no rough idle or anything like that. My problem is I've noticed it just won't pull itself up steep hills like it used to. I'm left having to go up them in 2nd gear. Pushing it up to 3000 rpm to get 30mph, then if I try going into 3rd the revs drop to 2000rpm and it doesn't have enough push to carry on, and I'm left having to drop it back into 2nd again. Engine starts ok, have bled fuel system on top of filter body. Drives fine but yesterday engine started to die on me whe I pulledup at lights etc. Could it be wster in filter, if so do i just unscrew the black senser onbottom of filter..is there ayoutube on doing this as its very awkward to get your hands on it from above vehicle. I filledup with diesel the day before and was fine till then, gonna try releasing filler cap in case a vacuum has occured. I did have a delaminated diesel tank a... Hello, I was given a 2005 2.5 crdi sorento by my dad. He had owned the car from nearly new. It has been very well lucked after always serviced by the garage etc. Its done just over 100k miles. I've had it for a year now and it slowly started to develop a starting issue. 1st of all I noticed it taking longer to start when the engine was warm now 8 months later it will not start until its cooled down.
